The Bride's Speech

As delivered on our wedding day, shared here for those who were there and those who couldn’t be.

Good evening, everyone.

We are truly honored to have all of you here with us today as we celebrate this incredibly special moment. Being surrounded by the people who have shaped our lives, supported us, and walked alongside us on this journey means more than words can express.

As our celebration continues, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude. A special thank you to our photographer Katie for capturing the moments we will cherish forever. And to Kevin & Missy, thank you for hosting us on your beautiful property and Kevin, for officiating our wedding, we quite literally could not have done this without you.

I especially want to thank my mom and Tommy, thank you for your endless patience, generosity, and reassurance that, no matter what, this day would be perfect because at the end of it, Daniel and I would be married. To my step-father Chris, thank you for your help and support and to Dad and Shannon, thank you for making it possible for us to enjoy a truly special honeymoon.

To my siblings, having you stand by our side today means everything to us. Someday, I cannot wait to be at your weddings, celebrating your own love and happiness. I love you all more than words can say. And though I may be moving across the ocean, please know that I am always just a call, text, or flight away. We would love for you to come and visit. You will always be welcome, and our guest room will be waiting whenever you are ready for a little UK adventure.

To my in-laws, thank you for welcoming me into your family with open arms. Traveling all these miles and adjusting to the five-hour time difference to be here today. It means so much, and our wedding would not have been complete without you.

We also want to take a moment to honor those who could not be with us. Those unable to attend and to those that are celebrating in spirit. We carry their love with us and know that they, too, are part of this beautiful day. And finally, to each and every guest, thank you for being part of our story. Whether you traveled near or far, your presence has made this day even more special.
